This will be an opportunity to get out of your head and into your heart! Our primary cause of suffering comes from the mind and accompanying thoughts. Embodied practices like breathwork have been used since the beginning of time to change our physiology and to alter our state of consciousness. In this meditative and transformational experience, you will use breathwork to transcend your current state, drop out of your conscious monkey mind, and into your unconscious world. No previous experience required.

Agenda:

  • An introduction to breathwork and the neuroscience of consciousness
  • A guided meditation journey with experienced facilitators
  • Time & instructions for integration

You’ll need:

  • Eye pillow (some available at the studio)
  • Lip Balm
  • Water bottle
  • Blanket and pillow (some available at the studio)
  • An open mind!

This experience is not recommend if you:

  • are pregnant
  • have a seizure disorder
  • have hypertension that is not stabilized
  • have had recent surgery or traumatic head injury
  • long COVID Syndrome

About Your Hosts

Monique

Dr. Monique Andrews is a teacher and scholar in Embodied Neuroscience who leads seminars and workshops around the world.  As a long time student of neuroscience and eastern embodied practices, she presents from a unique perspective, blending modern tools with ancient wisdom. Drawing on years of intensive study and teaching, she has become an expert in embodied somatic practices and is an international award-winning speaker in the areas of Neuroscience, Polyvagal theory and Nervous system regulation. Through her work with The PRANA Foundation she is a powerful guide and mentor for those drawn to evolving their own wisdom and easing the path for others. Dr Mo’s vision is to elevate the consciousness of humanity.

Tamara

Dr. Tamara MacIntyre, End of Life Architect, is also a chiropractor, doctor of functional medicine, and recovering higher ed administrator. As the co-founder of The PRANA Foundation, she offers education, mentorship, and retreat to others in health care.  Tamara has recently found her new calling as a certified End of Life Doula and is empowering people with a thoughtful path to aging, illness and dying. Her mission is to serve as a guide to others so that they can choose an end-of-life passage that is in alignment with how they lived their life. Her vision is to facilitate a space where people are more curious than afraid. Tamara offers end of life education, individualized care planning, and advocacy. She encourages everyone, regardless of age, to engage in conversations of death and dying before they are sitting face to face with their mortality.
