- using a smart thermostat
- purchasing 100% renewable wind and solar energy from Peninsula Clean Energy
Water Conservation
Swell Yoga conserves water by:
- using a low flow toilet and sink
- monitoring regularly for leaks
Environmentally Preferable Purchasing
Swell Yoga purchases:
- paper products with at least 30% post-consumer content
- non-toxic cleaning products
- energy efficient electronics and equipment
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
Swell Yoga:
- reduces waste stream by recycling and composting
- increases waste diversion by recycling all paper, cardboard, bottles, plastics, metals, cans, and other studio waste
- eliminates single-use items
- operates as a paper-free business
Pollution and Toxics Reductions
Swell Yoga:
- uses non-toxic cleaning products
- uses low VOC paint and building materials
- stores and disposes of hazardous waste responsibly
