Using Acuity to sign up and pay

Our 3rd-party scheduling system, Acuity, is similar to Mindbody. We use Acuity for three reasons: 

  1. It’s small-business friendly
  2. It’s owned by Square, which is our PoS (Point of Sale)
  3. Anyone can sign up for a class without having to register for an account

If you are visiting and do not attend Swell regularly, don’t worry about using the app. If you attend Swell classes regularly, you should use the app, create a personal account, and be logged in to: sign up, pay, change and cancel classes, and have a record of your history. 

1. From your smartphone, download the Acuity app one of two ways:

A) Point your smartphone camera at the QR code below and tap the link. Skip to step 3. (See troubleshooting below for help using a QR code.)

OR

B) Go to the App Store and search for Acuity Scheduling:

2. Tap “+” to add a business and enter:

swellyogastudio.as.me

3. Tap the “person” icon in the lower right corner:

4. Create an account with your email address and password:

5. Return to the home screen to book a class or make a purchase

Troubleshooting

How do I use the QR code? 

The QR code is an image meant to work with your phone camera screen, not an image you click on. You will need to have it up on a different device and point your phone camera at the image. Rather than taking a picture, you click on the yellow link that pops up on your camera screen once it “reads” the image:

How do I find the app? 

In the App store: Acuity Scheduling Client (or use the QR code)

How do I find Swell Yoga?

Why am I being asked to pay if I already have a class pack or subscription/membership?

The email address linked to your purchase is your “code.” Make sure it is entered correctly. 

How can I see my class pack, certificate, or subscription/membership in the app?

Tap the “tag” icon second from right at the bottom of the screen: 

How can I see my history?

Tap the “calendar” icon second from left at the bottom of the screen. (If some of your history is missing, you were not logged in when you scheduled the class. Email membership@swellyogastudio.com and we can re-populate your history.)

I don’t see a place to enter a discount coupon code.

Click on the blank space next to “Coupon”
