Join Swell’s incredible lineup of Yin teachers to dive into the world of holds, healing, the nervous system, and release. This workshop is for anyone looking to deepen their understanding of Traditional Yin. All levels welcome!
We will begin with a discussion and history of the lineages that weave together to create this unique style of yoga. Well then move into the foundational aspects of a traditional Yin practice. We’ll explore Qi (energy) and how it moves through the body; learn how to use props in supportive and creative ways; and experience the physical benefits of yin deep into the facia and connective tissues.
Participants will walk away with a deeper understanding and appreciation of this meditative practice. If you feel ready to drop into yourself and embody the yin way of being, join us!

Meet Your Teachers
Angela Reiner
Though her yoga journey started in “power” classes, Angela has continued to dive deeper into her practice, she ultimately fell in love with a much slower flow. Her teacher training offered her a closer look at the benefits of Yin yoga and inspired her to pursue a 50-hour Yin specialization. She also holds a specialization in Restorative yoga.
Antony Mills
He received his 200-hr YTT in 2017. In his training and teaching, Antony interweaves the therapeutic benefits of Yin Yoga with Traditional Chinese Medicine. He’s particularly drawn to bringing the “yin” balancing qualities of yoga to the “yang” energy of western and corporate culture.
Sasha Trope
Sasha is a versatile instructor who rounds out her yoga practice and teaching with curiosity and exploration. She’s equally comfortable in hot and “power” yoga classes as she is in a rejuvenating yin. She’s also certified in Dynamic Mindfulness and is currently a pursuing Meditation training.
