Step into an enlightening experience with our Mindfulness Journey — a half-day immersion designed to guide you deeper into your mindfulness practice, cultivate profound inner stillness, and reconnect with the present moment. In the spaciousness of silence, free from the noise and distractions of daily life, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the qualities of the heart brahmaviharas: loving kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity. This unique experience invites you to discover how mindfulness can enhance your awareness, bring more depth to your everyday moments, and foster a sense of peace and connection to the world around you.

As the poet Kabir expressed, “I wanted a great pilgrimage, so I sat in silence for three days.” Silence is a powerful tool for quieting the mind and turning inwards. By cultivating silence, we learn to trust the wisdom of our hearts, gain insights into our habits of thought, and open ourselves to the life-changing effects of sustained mindfulness.

This immersion goes beyond simply sitting in stillness, it takes you on a journey of learning how mindfulness can permeate every aspect of your life. With the support of a like-minded community, you’ll discover how sustained mindfulness can bring peace, clarity, and heart-centered presence, allowing you to connect more deeply with yourself and others.

Opening Circle + Silence

connect with community through an opening share, and welcome in the ritual of silence

Dharma Talk + Practice

absorb a talk on the importance of a long practice and how this cultivates qualities of the heart

Mindful Movement + Eating

brief movement folds into a guided movement meditation to deepen awareness, followed by a mindful eating exercise

Walking Meditation

practice inviting presence in each moment through a walking meditation out on the coast

Yin Yoga + Sound Bath

one hour yin practice followed by a sound bath and a final passage of silence meditation

Closing Circle

transition back into dialogue and conclude the journey with a closing circle share

Your Host

Sasha Trope

Sasha is a compassionate instructor specializing in mindfulness practices. Certified in Dynamic Mindfulness, she is currently deepening her understanding through an extensive 2-year program and has put together the vision for Swell’s mindfulness offerings.

Sasha integrates mindfulness into all of her teachings, offering a calming and present approach to yoga that encourages self-awareness, focus, and a deeper connection to the present moment. Her style reflects her dedication to cultivating mindfulness both on and off the mat.

Martina Curci

Martina is an experienced sound healer with a passion for the mystical power of music. After studying Music Therapy, she was introduced to Vibracoustics and pursued specialized training in Applied Vibroacoustics, Tibetan Singing Bowls, and Sound Boarding. She began offering sound healing sessions in 2020 and now leads group sessions at Swell. With her rich background in sound healing, Martina combines her expertise to bring a harmonious and rejuvenating experience to students.
