Pregnancy expands the way we practice, asking for strength, softness, and adaptability.
This workshop is designed for expectant mothers who want to continue attending regular yoga classes with clarity and confidence. Together, we’ll walk through the postures and transitions you’re most likely to encounter in a typical flow and explore how to modify them in ways that feel supportive, steady, and sustainable. You’ll learn:
- safe core engagement and deep abdominal support
- pelvic floor awareness (both lifting and releasing)
- pregnancy-safe twists
- smart, supportive use of props
- breathwork to support nervous system regulation
Expect a blend of movement, conversation, and hands-on alignment guidance. You’ll leave knowing how to step into any class safely during this stage of life.

Jasmine Canales

Jasmine began practicing yoga at 17 and quickly found herself immersed in the physical challenge. She found a steady practice before going on to train with Anahata Yoga & Wellness. With a foundation in Hatha, she’s especially known for her grounded, supportive approach to slower practices like Restorative and Yin.
As a first-time mom with specialized training in prenatal and family yoga, Jasmine brings both professional knowledge and lived experience to her teaching. She has intentionally designed this workshop to support expectant mothers continue their practice safely and confidently.
